End of WiggleCRC?

 :metal:

I notice TriSportsResort is still listing stuff on ebay. That was the wiggle outlet profile, right? Is this the administrator still shifting latent stock?

Looks normal pricing too, not like the last desperate sale days of wiggle

Hs anyone tried the new Wiggle recently?

Am looking to make a purchase of some cycling gear as after a complete lack of exercise recently, my old cycling stuff seems to have shrunk.

They’re still selling DHB on there which I always found good but if it’s just now another Sports Direct tat brand, I’ll get the Van Rysel stuff instead.

Checked it last week to get some mucoff chamois cream and it was something like £30 + £6 shipping! Got it from Amazon for £16 by signing up to 3 month replenishment! I think decathlon is the way to go.

Some poor reviews on the Van Rysel kit on here @jeffb was it???

Yes I think the bib shorts

I can recommend Siroko for mid price kit, they have a sale on right now also

I think someone else had issues as well and returned them.

I got a pair of bib shorts, finish felt good but the chamois caused problems on an 85k hard ride, but I’m not sure I put them on properly.

Tried them since on a short ride and easy Zwift ride and although they weren’t as bad I’m not sure I’d use them for anything longer. The cheapo Planet X were much better.

Chamois does tend to be fairly personal though, I never got on with Castelli either.

I’d have thought Assos was ā€˜affordable’ for most on here for non everyday use?

That was me, pad bunched up and ā€˜pinched’, used for 2 commutes and returned.

That’s a good description and how it affected me, but I wasn’t sure if I used enough chamois

I used wiggle to get some bibs last month, no haribo
They were adidas though and £110 reduced to about £45 hence getting them instead of the DHB

Bought something. Shipping label has Evans Cycles at the top, so suggests it’s being administered by the Mike Ashley group now.

If so, surprised at the deal I got. They had some R8050 di2 shifters for £125. Given how hard to find rim brake stuff is nowadays, at c50% the price of everywhere else, I just decided to get a set in case I have an incident on my decent bike

Used Assos Bibs for TCR. no issues. Got them on sales last year

Not surprised they were in the sale if they were used! :poop:

I see that Hotchillee has gone bust now too? Troubled times continue. @Whisk you’re involved with this bunch right? (Sorry if this has been discussed elsewhere…)

Rapha continuing to struggle, I’d actually buy some of their leisure gear if they still sold it, like polo tops but for some reason they’ve stopped.

I’d be gutted if they folded.

Let’s hope for a strong Black Friday and Christmas sales.
