I was bored (and unemployed) so I just did the Prison Officers application tests. Got rejected at psychometric evaluation stage as apparently my ‘humanity’ scores are too low !! Says a lot about why they are getting in such a woke load of trainees at the moment.

I would have stopped several people have said “ if I knew I was winning I would have carried on”
It’s up to the judges to stop her .. or herself .. in the heat of battle I get it .. but I 100% would have stopped if it was me

The list of bent staff convicted for misconduct is growing rapidly ..! My friends who are still in are counting g the days till pension or looking at other jobs

My experience was that the whole entry screening process is AI based around questions and role-plays on how accomodating you are going to be to prisoners needs and consensual approach, even where it goes outside the laid-down procedures. No real contact is made with applicants. A large amount of recruiting is fulfilled by using immigrant staff

I’ll try and keep the explanation short. The top Pros (which she is one) are racing for points to race in the ‘majors’ which then give you the potential to qualify for the Elite 15 World Championships should you podium. To get into the majors its the top 15 athletes with the most points. Its your best 5 races from the past 365 days. So accumulating wins is relatively important. There is more nuance than that but thats the basics!
There is decent money and sponsorship opportunities floating around the sport now, so even more pressure on getting those wins!

So they bought it for 2.6x revenues, but no mention of how much (if any) profit it generated from that revenue.
It sounds like a crazy amount of money for something that might have no customer appeal in 5 years time.
I’m sure they have an exit plan somewhere down the line that involves them getting out before the value crashes
