If true, I actually find this quite exciting, like pissing on Bolton levels of excitement. Going to the Reebok stadium, whilst I dont doubt the race had many positives, it was never a “destination race” like Tenby is, but I have a mate in Leeds, and its a big city, with great bike route potential and a history of holding a big event. It has potential to draw me up there for sure.

You could do a decent one around here. Several lakes to swim in and then a mix of climbing and rolling routes. If it was just IM in terms of branding I bet you would have LOADS of moaning but add the Brownlee name in the promotion it would be well received in general.
