Tracking a few lads at Bolton 70.3, the bike course looks a bit naff and the run seems to just be endless dead turns!

My bike is doing it ( I’m not)
Leader swam 1;14 pace 40 kph bike and currently 3:40 run pace that’s crazy on that course.

Apparently their entries system collapsed today after too many people wanted to sign up for 70.3’s next year 
Either woefully underspecced or written, although I’d think they mean active

I did a Standard, Sprint & Middle in the Ardeche last year, can’t remember how much it was but this year it’s €188…just saying.

It’ll be 20 years in September since I did the first ever race that was branded an IM 70.3 at Longleat. At the time, I think most people expected everyone to carry on calling them HIMs 
I think the going rate for a branded 70.3 was £130 at the time and I paid about £260 for IM Austria the following year

Still a few entries for the steelman, but closes soon. Rare it doesn’t sell out but some unfortunate clashes this year and either same weekend as Leeds or very close to be a training sharpener type event.
