I get up between 5am and 6am (dog dependant) so should really shape myself, walk the dogs early, then have a spare hour available for “something” :man_shrugging:t4:

3km jog/walk today - but it’s SO DAMN WET :umbrella::cloud_with_rain:

I think that it is fairly easy to assume that i had 31 bottles of red last January…and so anything can be an improvement on that…

So, day 10 update…

a new year’s day bottle, one for bank holiday Monday that ran into Tuesday, one last Thursday because it was just so grim and one on Saturday/Sunday. Plus a bottle of Banks Amber last night…

That’s about as good as it gets for me…

To balance that intake (CICO :slight_smile: ) I have managed 3 runs…

Got an opening to go to and hob nobbing about various projects - think that’s called networking. Additionally gig on sat and birthday drinks on Sunday - I’m being thwarted at every turn

Thought about this, just recovering from a run related Achilles niggle so running everyday was out.

Went for no alcohol ( birthday on the 1st ) but not a drop since .

No chocolate, had a free nutrition review in October, very basic but they were surprised how much of the sweet stuff I eat… not a smartie in 2023.

Static bike, I’ll probably fail but get near but 31 hours required this month.

Turbo
Spin … owt.

10:15 done so far this year, legs are feeling it now.

After 25 days dry I’ve called it and I’m enjoying half an already opened Cab Sav that my wife brought back from the Strathpuffer 24h MTB race that finished this morning. Appropriately the wine is called Journey’s End (6.8/10). Sat by the fire…

Very nearly got the Ardbeg out tonight, but thought no, I’ve come this far. Im still the same weight though and training has been sporadic. I also think @joex would beat me in a swimming race after getting back in the pool twice last week :rofl:
