bloody hell that is a turn up from a RO
I normally look like an upper market chav these days, flip flops, shorts and an adidas t shirt or something.
Nice one
if ever there was a day to buy a lottery ticket, today is that day
That is a really nice touch, they seem to have learnt from the bad press over the last 18 months. Hope everything goes well today and you can enjoy the weekend
I think it’s covid based, and was one of the stipulations to get the event over the line, letting athletes who felt “ uncomfortable “ defer at any time as Poet pointed out earlier in the week… what I told them was true unfortunately, but I could have been lying if I’d been… a bit of a sick weirdo.
One IMJ guy just said I’m not ready, he hadn’t put the work in, and he’s now next year too.
I obviously won’t find out anything today, then it’s a case of no news is good news apparently.
Love racing a Namnori round here
Were they selling those caps off cheap, as the badge is backwards.
And the writing seems to be in Russian
Looks ok to me, I wondered where Bolton was, turns out it’s what those that aren’t in the know call Notlob
“A palindrome of Bolton would be Notlob”
eifles a ekat ot woh gniwonk ton em tsuj, oN
Reminds me of when IM Oz stuffed up the backpacks and printed:
’ IronMan. Anthing Can Happen’
I thought so too - after finishing UTMB I wore my shirt to the local parkrun only to be comprehensively trumped by a guy in a Tour de Geants finisher shirt (had a good natter with him - he’s a really nice guy as well
)
Ouch, that would sting a bit!
Wasn’t there a brief time when they used the global slogan “Anything is IMpossible”
Actually you’ve reminded me, it wasn’t ‘Anthing can happen’ it was ‘Anthing is possible’.
We did get some mileage out of it on Transitions for a while.
Yer the logos on the bag had the IM badly positioned still at least theyve never given out diet rola cola on the run in Bolton
