What in earth are people putting in their T2 bags - I’ve got my trainers and a visor, some of them are bursting at the seams!

Trainers
Spare socks (in case it rains on the bike)
Towel (for feet, in case it rains on the bike)
Cap
Inhaler (rarely carry this on the bike, usually don’t need it)

Just finished the 500 metre practice swim - that lake is grim!
Folks are going to get swum over on lap two tomorrow - you can’t see your own hands let alone a body in front of you.
Really windy too, swimming into constant mini waves.
Same for everyone though

Looks like the tide has gone out 
wasn’t it there a few years ago where people were getting injured jumping in from the sides of the pontoon into shallow parts?

Good luck @Adam, Bolton certainly has its challenges. Sure you will do really well so long as you avoid all sharp objects on the road

Yes, I seem to remember stories of injuries due to rocks.
It’s fairly deep where they had the pontoon today - dived straight in
@Matthew_Spooner - weirdly, punctures have been on my mind, especially after what happened to poet last year. Getting paranoid. I’m going to carry two spare rear tubes and one front along with some patches just in case. I’ve also taped my mini pump in the behind the saddle bottle mount

One of TT got hurt going into the side I’m sure. I remember being warned going in must’ve been 2017.
