Posted the Tempos back today.
Didn’t like them really and also gave me a blister which I won’t post on here
you have a finger for a toe? where are you from, the IoW or something?
Knew this would be the weak point on the Zoom Next%
Going to have to make a patch or something as the air pod is almost exposed
what mileage have you put on them @funkster?
They must be made of cheese!
About 150 miles…
Wow!!!
What has @Matthew_Spooner done in his?
That’s pretty bloody appalling. Surely that’s worth a warranty claim? Not like you’re 120kgs slamming them off road!
Every Nike shoe I have wears in the same spot
Weird gait
It’s not a podcast I normally listen to, but AW is a mate with a hell of a reputation so I gave it a go.
About halfway through he talks about the new footwear & his conclusions seem to be :-
-
they work for you if your gait is compatible
-
not necessarily beneficial if worn for all sessions, save them for racing
-
it’s a shame that they are so expensive & that runners & parents of runners are under pressure to stump up so much money
That’s relative, though, isn’t it.
The shoe dopers will soon get found out once XC season arrives
Why? Track spikes have the benefits of the new technology, why not XC?
what in 2021 ?
Sorry - should have been clearer;
Surely the “boing” doesn’t work from grass and mud?
And the “cushion” isn’t required on the soft surface?
I miss XC
60km
3 runs
38km round the lake
5km flat out
15km test run
I see why they are so fast now, you do 58km, but then get to call it 60km !
Zoom Next% sent back. Strava says 170 miles in them.
Used my Nike account and just printed off a return sheet and chucked them in the post.
Picked up another pair of Zoom Fly 3s off Sportshoes and took them out this morning
Can definitely feel the difference between them and the ZN%, as in they are less springy despite having the carbon plate.
Socks just for @Jorgan
body mass isn’t everything when it comes to shoe degradation…
But it is undoubtedly a strongly contributing factor …
it probably is…but it needn’t be…
