Had they not had the returns, I would never have bought them. Just can’t justify that financial outlay at this point in time. Ran well in them, but they didn’t really fit me. Had they been perfect I’d have been very tempted. I was/am still tempted. But would need at least a target race to justify them.
Sounds like the nexts may have a slightly better chance though. Might try them in the future.

I’m getting left behind in my nearly new fly’s, do I need these for Hamburg? Although ATM I might be lucky if I can actually run by Hamburg and I’ll look like a complete tw@t walking in them, a 26 mile limp is looking like a possibility ATM

The NEXT% were the only shoes I have ever paid full price. I had two codes on the Nike site to get the VaporFlys, Birthday code and the EggHunt (Eastercode). The 3 pairs will be used for road racing since I am not racing long course, I can race HMs every couple of weeks and still chuck in the sprint and off road tri
My shoes should have been delivered today, just went to check where they are and it say order cancelled, Nike have not sent me any information to suggest that they were cancelling my order, somewhat pissed off
Would anyone be so kind to video themselves running in these shoes please? A few frames from the side, front and back on an iphone would be fine.

Just an aside.
As the punishing heat of Frankfurt forced me to do quite a bit of walking yesterday, I was still able to get back to, albeit at a slow pace, running in the 4%.
Never managed that in any other shoe.

That is a nice colourway…I just got back from my Fartlek and was debating on using my voucher (for being f***ed around with the next%) on some of the ZFs for traing…
@buzz - He doesn’t like shoes, which is nice 
1st proper run (lazy 5 miles) in them tonight the NEXT% in my opinion are firmer and less of a bouncy castle than the Vaporfly 4%. I noticed the change in drop in them which is no bad thing for me but they will take time to get used to. I went out intending to run at 5 min km pace as a relaxed run but ended up running at 4:31 pace with no real effort. I have a hill race tomorrow night that I am intending to podium at so it really was a pootle to give some feedback.
The heel is much harder wearing with no noticeable wear after the run and the original laces stay in place with lock lace thingies
