This is exactly the same as my impression. I got some Apha 2’s and just don’t like them as much as the original Alpha’s. I got a pair of the Original Alpha’s for 50% off in Nike black Friday sales, they are being kept in cotton wool for special race days.

My Neuton Hiero’s died at SaiteLyon in December, I needed some new trail shoes urgently for Crux and went for Nike Pegasus Trail Goretex as they only had the Goretex version, I wanted Nike as I know I get on with their shoe range. Really impressed, they run well on tarmac sections, nice and stable on technical parts, plenty of grip, and familiar Nike sponginess. My Inov8’s are better on trails, but horrible on tarmac, even worse on tarmac descents.

In the meantime, they’ve gone down 25% in price (SPRING23 code) making the cashback redundant
We were getting the 25% off at the same time remember. These for £100 BEFORE cash back! I’ve had four referrals payout Tuesday along with my Nike cash back so hopefully still 6 to referrals to go!
