Pretty sure every bearded bookend in Hackney would be banging down your door for a pair of those

best tri shoes ever…

Did you use those with your Thompson Timeless Transition pedals?!

Pre dates those…i think…

Next% went back on Friday at 1520, via the Royal Mail returns label.

Got the email confirming my refund yesterday at 1940.
That’s pretty much two working days :+1:t3:

I’m now looking forwards to trying out the Peg Turbo 36

Did you send the Next% back for an exchange?

Nah.
I like the Next.

Just want a reasonably cushioned training shoe for my marathon training

What mileage do you expect from the ZoomX foam in the Pegasus?

Did a 15k tempo run on Friday wearing Next% and 15k tempo run last night with 4%

Overall ran at 4:25m/km @ 158bpm with Next % and 4:28/km @ 161bpm with 4% - suggesting that the Next% are a little quicker, but not by a lot and difference could well be other factors, even though temp was the same.

Strangely, the 4% felt faster, the lack of support makes you feel like you are running fast, while the Next % feel more normal, it is when you look at your watch that you realize that you are running faster than normal

New colourway imminent…

I thought that was Beetroot initially. You know, for the extra GAINZZZZZ

Pegasus Zooms arrived today…and will be going back straight away.

These shoes are BIG

Might need a half size down at least

OH FUCK :face_with_symbols_over_mouth::face_with_symbols_over_mouth::face_with_symbols_over_mouth:

I used my fly’s at a local 5k last night and managed to just about get a PB despite limited run specific training. 18:51, I appreciate that’s fairly slow compared to some of you on here.

I think they probably contributed 15-20 seconds worth of that, it was also a breezy night although being loops you did get it slightly over your shoulder on the back half.

Although, as before stability on the hairpin turns at the heel was a bit iffy, but I’ve probably got them a bit too slack

What is the drop on the Next%, please?

and can anyone who has a pair please post some images on what is going on with the heel arrangement?

It’s 8mm now. Down from the 4% 11mm.
They don’t feel like you’re teetering on the edge anymore.
Mine have gone back now, but the heel thing are like a little pad that hugs your Achilles. It’s pretty good and I never noticed it was there, but might have done had it not been. If that makes sense?

ALSO
The Peg Zoom Turbo’s are HUGE!
Plenty of room for Finger Toe.
I ordered an 11, if I had normal feet a 10 would be bang on, but I’ll need a 10.5.

I’m going to have a few runs in them (got a 50 mile next week) and send them back for something else :+1:t3::rofl:

Thanks - I am not sure how 11mm can be 4% across the range…

I am not keen on anything hugging my worn out Achilles…I may have to follow your lead and do a buy and return…

Cheers

No! You misunderstand.
The shoe “Vaporfly 4%” had an 11mm drop.
The shoe “Next%” has an 8mm drop.

I am unsure if this is scaled down for smaller feet.

Their returns process is awesome.
It’s super easy - they provide a label and the delivery box has a sticky strip to re-use that, too.
Drop off at Post-Office, Collect+ or get DPD to come to you :+1:t3:
