Nike Zoom Fly/Vaporfly 4 and NEXT% - The Thread

those pink ones are just the same shoe though by the looks of things. just a new colour?

That’s what I thought but was slightly confused by Zoomx part of the name.

zoom x is just the name of the foam isn’t it?

So yeah, probably just nike trying to confuse people into thinking they’re new and upping sales!!

Same shoe - BUT IN BLISTERING PINK…

…they have been wife approved (as we are both sat here in the office, ā€œworkingā€)

MCR Half looks rapid, buy the pink ones, or the Peg Zoom 36 Pride edition
The kudos at the race start line will be worth the extra seconds.

The pink ones are actually now showing as available on the nike app. For the benefit of a £36 saving, I might just buy from Nike and know I can run in them and still be able to return if the sizing doesnt quite align with the 4%.

Thanks for the offer though @jeffb

@stenard do you have a discount code for the new Next% ?

ha ha ha !!!

Me?! Nope! I’ve been holding out for one myself, given I didn’t have any key running races in the near future, but that’s going to change in the next couple of months so I’m probably just going to have to bite the bullet. It was rather optimistic a code would be available that’d work on the new NEXT%, although Jeff seems to have implied he could have used one on them at a third party seller.

Thanks @stenard, looking for motivation for my 2020 project.

Zoom Fly Flyknit purchased in the sale. Yet to run in them. Added my birthday as 31st Oct hoping for birthday code but no luck

Useful to know. I was contemplating trying similar with a second account!

I read that the account needs to be at least 1 month old before you get the discount. But my marathon is on 20th Oct so I took a gamble!

DUDES!

Try this, let me know if it works:

How much does it get?

Jeff

Guy at work bought some Ā£250 Next%s, then ran a 30sec PB Park Run. He hasn’t used them since but I’d be keen to see if it’s placebo. We have a 10km that we are doing together a week on Sunday. he’s 5years younger than me, so had better be taking me to the cleaners.

If he has the same size feet as you just bop him on the head and have the trainers off him

Legend! Worked for me. 10% off the new pink NEXT% is pretty good going seeing as they were only just released. Also picked up some more ZF FK. Not quite as cheap as last time, but Ā£60 for some shoes I’ve been doing most of my running in recently is pretty good. 263km on them in a little over a couple of months.

It’s a 10% code. Works on any full price or sale item, based on the order I just placed.

EDIT - £10 topcashback has initially tracked as well

Please tell me you’re just buying for the future and not binning a pair of shoes with less than 300km on them?!

Ha, yes, the latter. They’ll stay in the box for quite a while yet! I can normally tell when shoes go dead … generally for me in the 500-600km range. I often still get more life out of them after that, but wouldn’t do longer runs in shoes older than that. Tracking mileage on shoes is probably the one feature in strava I value the most! (Yes, I’m aware you can do it on other platforms too)

Examples…

You might be able to tell my distance shoe was previously Brooks Glycerin! :joy:
