Nah, it’s a trainer.
It is a pair of running shoes. you’re a marketeers wet dream
Exactly.
They’re all the bloody same and you cannot tell the difference from one to the next.
They have literally not changed since I can remember (some say this a good thing)
Also, see McLaren for the same.
720s, etc. But even they’ve started naming their cars (Senna, Speedtail, Elva, etc)
Although…BMWs system is quite good
318 = 3-series, 1.8l engine, right?
But they don’t elicit that sense of desire names like;
Evora
Huracan
Aventador
Valhalla/Valkyrie
@PCP - damn right. Aren’t we all?
Flyease or not, that actually sounds like a really interesting premium training shoe.
Is this the first shoe, outside of the top end one of the time, that they’ve included some ZoomX in, alongside a stiffness plate? The ZF has always had the carbon plate, but fully react foam. The Turbo series of Pegasus has had the ZoomX but no plate. This one seems to mesh the two. For a £100 cheaper shoe than just training directly in the top of the range.
Still expensive clearly, but if you could get a deal on them, then they’ll easily be around the price I’d paid for trainers plenty of times before Nike changed the pricing game.
They also come without the FlyEase - the reason that interests me is solely for triathlon.
Here’s the link to the normal shoe:
https://www.nike.com/gb/running/zoom-tempo
However, @stenard, I don’t believe that the Tempo features a carbon plate:
A full-length plate in the midsole helps stabilise the Zoom Air pods while also providing a propulsive feel with every stride. The difference between this plate and those in our racing shoes is that the one in the Tempo NEXT% isn’t as rigid, which allows your foot to build strength over the course of training.
Also, the next% will now be fully available as a MEMBERS ONLY customisable shoe - so you can get a FlyKnit upper and your own colourway on the traditional Next%, for £254.95 - but they’ve sold out for today
Also, BTS25 for 25% off everything *
*terms and conditions apply
Yeah, no carbon plate. But it has some form of plate, which not all shoes have.
Guarantee the Next% come back into stock once the 25% off finishes!
They’re not actually “out of stock” as they’ve not had their UK release yet
Fair point. They’ll become available then
Code isn’t even valid yet…becomes available at 0001 CEST…closes at midnight their time…might get lucky!
Custom Next% have disappeared from the website
Nike have a “drop” of three street wear trainers scheduled for 8am tomorrow (1st Sept)
I am hoping it includes the Alpha’s
My physio and I think the saucony endorphin pro has caused the patella tendinitis so I am going back to Nike. The question is what is the middle ground between the Next% that I have for racing and the Pegs 36 that feel dead to me. Ideally a bouncy zippy training shoe?
Zoomflys? They are a touch on the pricy side though
I had just seen them! They look to be what I need or the infinity
Air Tempo Next%!!!
Interesting but not sure when they will drop and there does not seem to be a male version available yet?
Next% on sale on the 12th at 08:00
Just wondering if my wife would kill me if I purchased another pair of NEXT%
