Not actually looked at the specifics just went straight to the start list!

Some very big names indeed.

That men’s elite wave is massive too

Have you excluded the blank numbers for spaces they hold back for blaggers and Elites?

I think (including relays) first Outlaw Full had 1,200, second 1,000 and third 800.

I guess half’s are always going to have more entrants, but that’s an impressive number!

Are PTO throwing cash at this one, too?

I think there’s a 10k pot for holkham

Visibility in that lake at the start will be a laugh for the later waves!!!

You don’t need to see in that lake!

Keep the fixed rowing buoys on one side of you, just don’t hit them, as they hurt!

I’ve never swam in anything as choppy as the that lake at Outlaw. So shallow & so many people, the water king of chops up & down not like waves.

Well… I kinda agree. Yet last time I was there doing full - shoulder was particularly niggly when sighting.
So yeah just watched the bank - stayed same distance from it… and promptly swam passed the turn bouy

Feeling better about the guy who schooled us in Sunday’s Dorney sprint now. Just seen he’s number 5 in the elite wave

Annoyingly I would have done this, but originally it would have clashed with IM Frankfurt

I’d say get in touch. They can only say no eh!

Tell them it’s your birthday too

Email them, and again. And again.
They have spaces left.

Say

“Hi Outlaw Team

It’s my birthday, I’ve just swam 10km and can barely type.

You’ve had Robin Hood and Outlaws do the race in previous years, but has an actual superhero?

My mates (name check the three tritalkers) said I should email you and beg for an entry.
I originally didn’t enter, as it clashed with Ironman, but I’d now love to do it, after hearing all about the race!

My number is ….
…my details are (BTF Number, cats name, dob and all that jazz which is totally fine to send by email)
Give me a call and I can pay the race entry today.

Look forward to hearing from you!

Regards
