Outlaw half - Nottingham

Did you have any success @funkster ?

Got the race pack through this morning.

No transition bags - presuming then that it’s dump all your kit with your bike on the rack?

(This is probably mentioned in the race info) :smirk:

Sean Burke is on for this 35-40 I think, did Bolton with us in 2019, beat me half hour?

I’d need a calendar to measure the gap now!

He did a 4:02 100 at he weekend, got caught at red lights twice, very good cyclist.

I’m sure they’ll be loads of hitters on the start list :muscle:t2:

Two of my older slower mates are doing it, but there both “ quite” good swimmers.

They are going to think they’ve rode into the tour tt…!

Great to be back racing.

Think one of my club mates is doing it… did a 4:04 at Grafman this weekend, and has been on the podium three times at Kona, but you’re OK… As you’d imagine with that time, he’s not in your age group… he’s nearly 50. :joy:

Sean is a club mate, we rode the 100 together until I bonked. He’s certainly strong and still making big gains.

Listened last night.

Will be sad if they don’t bring back the mass start once covid restrictions have eased.

Sticking with this run course and not including the tow path. Won’t miss that :grinning_face_with_smiling_eyes:

Transition is half a mile long :scream::scream::scream:

Have you guys had your race pack in the post?
@adam @stenard @chickenboy ?

PICTURES LAD!!!

I’d pay extra to get my race pack in the post.
They do it for running races, why not triathlon?

totally agree. And surely much more efficient (resource and cost) to slowly get the packs together over a few evenings at home then pop them down as a batch at the post office when compared to having X staff/volunteers sat at tables for hours on end when they could be doing something much more valuable elsewhere e.g. use the ‘freed up’ volunteer hours to have more marshalls on course.

Yes mate

Numbers then!!!

Let’s get this tracker loaded up…

  1. 6:00 am start. Gunning for a podium, there’s three names i can find that will be tough to beat. Gotta put time into them on the swim /bike. Hard from the off
