@doka might catch him, think he said he’s just swim/biking it?

Yeah, swim bike. then kick back & watch the race.
Might take a steady T1 though, not much point in rushing.

Yeah - not point doing yourself a mischief :+1:t3:
Allow them to get real far up the road, then use the slingshot effect for that ~2hr bike split :grimacing::partying_face:

Phwoar, you lucky lot!
I saw @Adam ā€˜s hot run and remembered he said he’s not looking at the forecast, so I looked for you.

I’d say that’s pretty perfect triathlon weather :tada:

I’ll bite your hand off for that

I was thinking about @funkster half yesterday and thought there’s no way I’d be able to run full gas in this heat. Needs to bloody cool down

That breeze looks spicy, but it sorts the Zwifters from the people who’ve been out IRL :+1:t3::sunglasses:

Ok – time to come out of the woodwork.

I’m down on the start line for this too. Feeling pretty apprehensive and after struggling with a running injury I’m not quite sure that I’ll make it to the finish line. I’d been training for the (UK) Boston Marathon and picked up an injury that I just couldn’t shift. Managed to manage it right up till the last week but knew I had to pull the plug on the marathon when I could barely walk without grimacing in pain.

3 weeks later I can walk pain free but I’ve not been able to do any running for 4 weeks now and my ā€˜sensible head’ knows it’s not a good idea to blast out 13 miles on my first go. That being said, I’ve not raced for nearly 18 months now and I’m gagging to get at it so I suspect I’ll give it a go.

I love the heat. I’d take @Poet’s forecast but the BBC is looking a little less optimistic.
