High quality showing for Tritalk: all 4 of us at the pointy end
Only 1:12 separating all four of us.
Damn it! You did beat me after all!
Well done chaps, sounds like a great morning out.
Thatâs ace. Well done gents
That was fun this morning. I canât believe we all managed to meet up - and you werenât axe wielding murderers (at least on a Saturday morning). The pace was hard at the start and didnât let up. Got my best ever age grading after 603 parkruns - Iâll have that!
Thatâs brilliant. Well done @funkin
We got a mention in the Bushy race reportâŚ
https://www.parkrun.org.uk/bushy/news/2022/11/20/report-event-no-903-19-november-2022
Describing me as a triathlete these days, is a bit of a stretch, but nice all the same.
@wheezy, considering where your running was this time last year I think you should be pretty chuffed about your time .
(Not as good as your Dad though .)
How did they know???
Triathletes innit
We were just taking our photo at the start line for here and the bushy park photographer happened to be nearby. He also included @funkin later on for the birthday bash he was there for and my club also feature this week.
Who are those cool dudes in caps and compression socks? They must be ace!
Thanks @Doonhamer
The bushy park photographer was desperate to leave to attend an urgent hospital appointment but was cornered by a group of men who âJust wouldnât stop talking about triathlon. I got them to line up for a photo and scarpered while they discussed the right lighting and angles. One of them took out lux meter for goodness sake!â.
Thinking about heading down for a parkrun tmw morning if i can be bothered. Probs been at least a year, probs more since i last did one. Wouldnât actually know where to start, pace wise.
Weâll see how I feel at 0800 tmw.
Balls out. Always
At the front.
