Parkrun

He lives in Eccleston 3? Miles from me, quite posh village.

I’ve seen Jack Catterall on a few small hall shows he’s been on the undercard a few times but his Manchester accent threw me.

Middleweight ? Unbeaten I think ?very sharp boxer/ mover Took his last fight on short notice and upset the odds IIRC?
Due a Uk/ euro title shot, his lack of power might be an issue at world level the Gennady golovkin types would simply walk through him.

Conor henn ( sorry ) is a very good 5 k runner too, not sure he’s drug free though ?!

Yes!

Bloody hell I ate so much yesterday - I felt so uncomfortable, not helped by a couple of beers and the odd coke. Bloated is an understatement

22:05’ish for me today at the local course. Started steady, picked up a bit then seem to have got carried away in the last K in comparison.

But, leg seems ok.

27.42 at Winchester for me, it was incredibly muddy and part of a longer run.

Today was my 90th

New Parkrun for me at Llangollen today.

Pretty flat course, but quite narrow, busy on the dogleg sections & although firm underfoot was quite leafy with a few unavoidable puddles of doom.

Ran pretty well for 3rd in 19:14 & 79%(2nd) but was smashed by my mate who bettered his 50-54 record in 16:48 & 79%.

Met up with friends for a soggy run later.

@tunster is out for a long run up there today, probably being dragged along by his son .

Clear skies, biting wind but a wee bit moist.

Fortunately I was the dragger rather than the draggee - with Mrs T and Oska

Fantastic 24.5km - what a way to start the year

A stunning morning - cold and as you say very bloomin muddy

A great introduction to 2024 and the area - thanks for the tips to get up there @Doonhamer - won’t be my last time

Geez, you ‘both feet off the ground types make me sick’. I always look like my feet are welded to the tarmac.
