He really wanted a selfie with MvdP but he was away doing a :poop:

MVDP must have been over indulging on the deep fried Mars bars before the race :roll_eyes::rofl:

On the schedule at the UCI worlds today - cycle-ball and artistic cycling :flushed: WTF???

one (or two) of the Sufferfest videos had them in. The artistic cycling is mental, so much skill! I’m guessing the bike one is the football on bikes (shame they don’t have bike polo, that was really popular at Herne Hill Velodrome)

Amazing riding by Josh Tarling :flushed:

Evenopoel, like Vingegaard on his TT said ā€œjust riding 10-15watts higher than planned throughoutā€ā€¦ such a dubious claim, suddenly riding 15watts higher than your FTP…

A motor adding 5% throughout, they might even not know it’s there…

@Doctor_Hutch

When that happens to me I recalibrate my power meter. That normally fixes it.

Arh…. I really want to believe in what I was watching, but again looks too good to be true.

Imagine if Ineos do sign him. Where else would Ganna be the second best TTer?

I feel less sceptical about Remco in the TT because he’s so aero it must make a big difference to the watts he needs to put out vs Ganna or the other powerhouses.

It would be interesting to see him at Ineos, feels like they need a new leader with Tao going to Trek and Geraint towards the end of his career

Noooooooo! That was not meant to happen in the XCO!

All the hype and the dubious rule changes to improve his position on the grid and he doesn’t even last 5 minutes :person_facepalming:

Exciting stuff on the lap 6, can’t decide who’s going to get this, seem very evenly matched.

EDIT: looks like the elastic just broke.

He’s an absolute weapon! Really would love to see him at Ineos.

Contador said on Eurosport that it’s an open secret in the peloton that he’s signing. We’ll see.

Amazing day at the Worlds in Glasgow today.

I volunteered and loved every minute.

Typical Scottish weather, soaked by the rain and came home sunburnt.

Back again tomorrow, out on the course for the Elite Women.

He’s an absolute cnut :face_with_peeking_eye::joy:
He comes across like a less talented Caleb Ewen

Seems to have a frite on his shoulder, sans mayo, too.

Any tips for what’s particularly worth catching up on this week? I’ve missed it all and have the opportunity to do a lot of catching up…

I enjoyed the mens tt

Downhill MTB as the rain made the course interesting.

XC MTB, the sprint races were good, the long course impressive performances.

Last 30k of the men’s road race probably all you need.

Men’s track 4k pursuit!

And the scratch and elimination track races were good from memory too.
