Remcoās Vuelta win was also largely uncontested.
Who was even racing that event last year?
His time trial was phenomenal though 
The mountain stage was also decent.
But the Vuelta is sort of a freak show, an after season party, of short stages with absurdly steep climbs.

However, it is important to be aware of the practice of sportswashing and to recognise when it is being used to distract from wrongdoing. 6m/year does sound a lot for a GC rider whoās unlikely to win the TdF in this era. Only Ineos could afford that; I think Boraās annual budget is around Ā£15m all in.

Would certainly be an odd one if it was Ineos. Ratcliffe wants the Tour, as you said, Rog isnāt going to win the Tour.
Best bet is merge with SQS then develop Remco into your TDF contender. Heās only 23, Jonas was 25 when he first won it.

I think Bora more likely than Ineos TBH. I donāt think Ineos will pay that much for a rider nearer the end of his career than the start
