Pro Cycling Live - will contain spoilers

That’s how I watch F1 and the moto racing now. I’ve noticed Blaze TV a lot on my YT feed because they have all the Shed and Buried/ Junk and Disorderly episodes on there.

TNT were based on site at the TdF, they had reporters in different locations to discuss conditions. It’s good coverage and fewer adverts than ITV.

That kind of makes sense; the commentators are sitting in front of a TV anyway, and only actually see the bit. I struggle to see how it would make any significant difference where they are, so long as there are folk on the ground for the on-site interviews.

Yeah, but you used to get David Duffield and Carlton Kirby talking about the meal that they’d eaten the night before.

Back in the day, the Eurosport “highlights” show was literally just the last hour of the race in real time with no editing. If anything significant happened before that you didn’t see it

The route for the of the ToB has been published and Stage 4 has a sprint in Cubbington which is about 1km from my house !

Shame I will be in the Brecon Beacons on Stage 5 of the Dragonsback.

Let’s pray you don’t get to see the ToB then Doug!

ToB passed my house a couple of years ago. I was on a bike touring holiday a few hundred miles away at the time.

You still get Carlton Kirby’s recipe on TNT, usually around 2pm

I see the Australian ashes tests are on TNT.

I wonder if that will drive more subscribers who keep the subscription for the cycling season?

Pisses me off. Sky just dont bother anymore. All the money gets plowed into fucking football. I mean with the time difference I wont watch much anyway but lets not that get in the eay of my rage.

That’s why I cancelled any subscription to them, lining the pockets of arrogant overpaid cretins.

Yeah, the time difference would mean I probably wouldn’t watch a lot of live ashes cricket anyway, but it’s annoying when you need subscriptions to multiple channels to see the stuff you want to watch

Replace Froome at ISL? Probably go to one of the 2nd tier UCI Pro teams?

Used to be able to wake up at a reasonable time and watch the end of play with a coffee. Oh, the days when it was C4.

Think England away games have been on TNT for a few years.

Can’t imagine a huge audience at 3 am on a Thursday morning to watch England bat in Wellington.
