Couldn’t think where else they would play at 3 am!

The Ashes would be bigger, and attract a larger audience.

But I remember distinctly, when kids were younger, sitting in front of the tv at 3 am trying to get one of them to sleep while watching England play NZ.

For me it’s memories of watching the Australian F1 Grand Prix :face_with_bags_under_eyes::person_feeding_baby:.

Ive just noticed that, didn’t register last night

FFS @Whisk I didn’t have kids when I was 17 :joy::joy::joy:.

The years I would have watched the Oz GP were '98 & '02.

Mansell in 1986…

Makes sense they need a G in the team.

What’s happening with Chris Frooome? I don’t think I’ve seen him in a race all year. Wiki says he broke his collarbone in the spring, but I’ve not heard a Retirement announcement.

I guess he has PR value to keep him in the team, but I can’t see him getting any good results

he’s taken the money and run. What a waste of millions but he’s sure milking it. I’m guessing the break clauses in his contract were just way too expensive that they’ve had to drag round the dead wood.

Sadly very true

Vuelta highlights on Quest at 7pm.

Casualty just after it, too.

That’s a rock and roll Saturday right there.

Seems to be an overlap. Casualty in 7 minutes.

With Casualty you can just ā€œWatch from startā€ on iplayer/Red Button, no?

firstly, let’s hope he’s ok and it isn’t anything too sinister.

However, I’m old and cynical and he really should’ve retired at least 2 seasons ago.

Also, he doesn’t actually live in Monaco. That’s just a visa and tax dodge. So I think he was a lot closer to home than 105 miles!

Training for what exactly? Agree, should have retired, but hope he is OK.
