Pro Cycling Live - will contain spoilers

It’s certainly losing it’s sparkle & TTs bore me at the best of times.

I was happy to miss the first part of last night’s Quest show as I was content catching up with the Ladies Cimac Tour from a few days ago on Tiz.

Plenty of other teams trying to earn WT status. The salaries would go down a bit and some riders might choose to retire early, but the show will go on. I can’t afford to watch it any more, but that’s another matter.

Spain recognised Palestine at the same time Ireland did.

The organisers were deluded for thinking there was any chance of a stage going ahead today :person_shrugging:

Vuelta organisers and police are a joke at this point

Weird init. Spanish police beat the shit out of Catalans on international TV for trying to stage an independence vote. But they are happy to look ineffective on international TV over this.

This isn’t quite what I expected Rwanda to look like, guess it’s the city rather than out of town.

So what were you expecting?

Unfortunately my hardened African heart with added age and cynicism, looking at the great infrastructure and I get annoyed they got funding for it all following a civil war that they created. What message does that send to the rest of Africa? Beat the :poop: out of each other and mutilate to your hearts content but don’t worry the African development fund and others will patch everything up. I’m too old!

I think it was probably just the part of the city they were going through which was pretty much like most.

Probably didn’t phrase it well but maybe hoped they’d be outside of the city in the countryside but I guess it depends what the roads are like there and more to close, but WC’s do tend to have loops towards the end so the locals can see them quite regularly.

They did do a long loop in the middle that went out a bit (where Pog attacked). African capital cities are very sprawling due to lack of jobs elsewhere so it’s very difficult for them to get to “countryside” or rural areas.

Glasgow was still many many laps at the end.

Just watching it now. Scroll straight to the bottom to comment… not seen any spoilers.

I’m going to predict an unbelievable Pog win to the level questions will be asked.

Edit: up to 36km to go… what a surprise (not)

Discovery+ has an offer on for TNT Sports at just £25.49 a month.

Couple of little catches are that you’re locked in for 12 months and the offer is only valid until tomorrow but every little helps.

Tempting, but I think I’ll stay unsubscribed until the spring classics, Then just pay until the end of the Vuelta again.
