there was a similar thing on sub 10 IMJ where some guy commented how pros ride for 4 hrs at threshold then run . I have obviously matured, or just CBA anymore but I didnt want to be that guy and just scrolled on. I was that guy when the Kenyan’s are all druggies trope came out though. Apparently the fact that the top Brit would only have been the 122nd fastest in Kenya last year doesn’t count even though I’m not sure many average Kenyans came afford or have access to complex doping protocols

I know a lot of the euro races are mostly a big draft fest but this is far from the worst I’ve seen. 12mtrs for Challenge?

I’ve seen worse. And yes, 12m is Challenge’s draft distance still.
IM are seemingly talking to RaceRanger about adopting that to reduce draft fests for pros - maybe Challenge are as well?
RR is changing the face of draft fests for pros and the system is still developing. They are a very small company with limited resources to deploy the system for every event, but I am aware of some of their future plans in this area but am bound to silence.

Challenge have been using them already I think. I’m sure some of the Southern Hem races had them, but i could be mistaken.

I think RR has been discussed on ST a fair bit. Not sure if that is old news and now have new tech but didn’t seem to be a massive secret?
