Wait, that’s the IM Lanza field isn’t it?
love this comment from Brad Culp on Twitter
“Triathlon twitter is basically Slowtwitch with way more women and no emperor.”
Everything about that is so American!!
Her saddle is too high though
Lol
Shame I don’t do twitter
And it is like ST, it’s a a political slanging match with fuck all to do with the OP
Here’s a picture of senator @kyrstensinema riding her $6,000 triathlon bike. For someone making $7.25/hour—which is what she believes the minimum wage should be—it would take 828 hours of work to buy this bike.
??? Error 101 does not compute ???
Here’s a picture of astronaut @neilarmstrong walking on the moon. For someone taking giant steps- which is what he believes mankind should take- it would take 14 million steps to walk to the moon
Kind of agree she could have gone a size down with the frame mind
You don’t need gas exchange, although it is gold standard…lactate testing gives you LT1 and LT2 and costs a lot less…
I do approx 100 every year…
Being an observer can offer a unique and unbiased view…
…but it doesn’t stop a chump giving carp advice either…
Have you looked into INSCYD? Gives some great data related to lactate testing and algorithms look very accurate. Think licence is based on a per test cost though and not cheap but could give you other metrics to offer the athletes.
What’s triathlon?
Nope. happy to do blood lactate testing in controlled environment…
…not that i am not interested in alternative solutions…
It’s just software, you plug your results into it , used by numerous pro tour teams.
(the guy I originally whinged about wanted you to just send him your garmin gpx file and was apparently able to tell you how much fat to carb you were burning using this software but was clearly full of shit)
Have a look at some of the questions about the bridge, christ on a bike!
Jesus wept.
fuck in ell. is there no end to 'murican idiocy??
april fools already?
Holy shit, look at those prices. No wonder they don’t need no ‘stinkin’ EVs’
I remember being in the US, driving from NJ to Toronto and back via Niagara Falls. We were with Mrs FP’s cousin who lives there, she had a Lexus SUV something or other.
We laughed when we filled it up, she didn’t believe us when when we said it would cost $120 in the UK to fill it up.

They are a bunch of jokers.
They’ll not finish the bike, and if by some non-religious miracle they do, they’ll be walking the run.
“I’ve ran 8 miles in 18 months, should I defer?”
YES! For the love of all that is non-religiously Holy.
“But then I’ll be training for ANOTHER 15 months!”
Eh!!
WHAT. THE. ACTUAL. FUCK?
You call running 8 miles in 18 months “training”?
I’d hate to see what your rest periods look like.
“Just build in some rest days, pal. Look at the taper and work back from there. 80 days to go, so it’s only 50 active days…”
Eh!!!
Again, WHAT. THE. ACTUAL. FUCK?
That’s over 2 rest days per week.
And he’s not done any training.
There should be zero taper and IM will be his “buildup” week.
But they cannot be told that.
They’ve got “Cramp Shots” and “the energy of the crowd and Ironman”
If IMJ is level one and Slowtwitch is level two, then tritalk is level three. No question
But I sometimes wonder if there’s a secret level four triathlon forum, even more secret than the Blackpool lounge, where Frodo and The Lion go to exchange tips, critique each others fridges and DIY etc
