Well done Adam and Poet, that looks nice and wintery but very cold. Hopefully less traffic today.

That’s lush! Looks like everyone that got out this morning was rewarded.
Nicely finished off @Adam. Well done also getting some runs in over the period, I don’t think my legs would’ve thanked me for that.
Cheers!
I’ve got one more run to round the year off.
I need 7.1km to take me to 1600 on the year
Will be my biggest annual run total
Abandoned after 47km.
I could’ve gone up and down the bypass six times to finish it off, but that’s as bad as doing it on Zwift
You’ve done bloody well with the conditions you’ve had to deal with!
Well ridden
A bit dejected now.
With just 60km left to cover and Zwift counting towards the total this year, I’m wondering how much do I want it versus how much would I hate myself?
You’d hate yourself less than I hate myself
, although I’m now seeing it as a challenge to do it all in the garage
Had a plan to cycle to the hills this morning for a run. Bailed the cycle 3 miles in, roads were treacherous.
On the turbo now, watching Godless.
If I was on Zwift I’d tap out the final few miles on it today @Poet
Jump on the turbo @Poet - most and many have jumped on with the weather you’ve had days ago.
Get the job done
Roads around Alderley Edge are clear.
61km of loops

We are just walking the dog (wife and dog in bottom photo)
It’s melting pretty fast here, get out this afternoon lad you’ll be reet
Yeah, but no.
I’ve enjoyed the challenge and ultimately come up short, beaten by the weather on two days.
I went back out the other day and it sort of ruins the day.
I don’t think I want to go back out now
Off to Lidl and Screwfix instead.
You’ve made a great effort.
At the end of the day it’s an arbitrary number. Amazing at getting out on the roads in the weather you’ve had. Wether you round it off on the turbo matters not
I’m a southern softie so have done all on turbo (also fits around work/family a little better).
Alpe TTT (48 mins for the Alpe) and a little extra to round off a cheaters vF500.
Doesn’t compare to those who’ve braved the elements but a good little incentive to get me exercising at a time of year when I’m usually just getting fat(er).
Chapeau all.
You should not look at yearly totals until after your last session to prevent such gaming!
Ah but knowing I was close has pushed me to get out the door!
Another great effort @Wells, it’s been a long old effort in the saddle however we did it.
My kids are 18 & 22, I’ve been off work, we’ve not been able to visit any other family & my weather was - on the whole - reasonable, so outdoors was doable.
Not sure I’ll be able to do it next year.
If I get my skates on I’m doing the TTT (solo) up the Alpe in 10 minutes to finish this.
