I wanted to ride with one of the pacers last night but couldn’t see them when I logged on. Are they always there and how do you get to them?

I went to Watopia and looked for the black bar in the riders to ride with bit and nothing.
yes they gone on strike, apparently Zwift screwed them up with the new update

Thanks, that’s the bit I didn’t know. I managed to find a group ride leaving soon after at about the right pace.

They are on strike (sulking) because they can no longer bag a jersey! Particularly that Coco Cadence. Never liked her, bit bitchy.

OK, about to venture back on to Zwift after binning my account 4 years ago.
Do I resurrect my old account, with the whole 6 months of history it contains, or bin it and start again? I have an activation code which may only work for new accounts, and it seems I put the wrong DoB in first time around, which cannot easily be changed.
Can’t imagine I have much ‘collected’. There was only Watopia back then, no climbing badges and I didn’t do any races.
My local club is organising a group ride tomorrow. They are using Discord, which I’ve downloaded Discord but haven’t a clue how to use. Assuming I will get an invite to ride and a separate invite to a Discord chat?
You should get an invite link to join the discord “team” / account. Once you’re in that, there should be text chat channels and voice channels. I’m assuming you’ll want the latter
Thanks mate. Yeah just the chat. I never use the companion app and might have to work out a way to fix my phone to my TT bars.
If you want to spend, quad lock are excellent. Dont buy their phone holder. Its about 50. Get the universal kit and a spare cheap case if you need it. It sticks to it and is a lot cheaper.
I found an old rubberised one I had in my spares box. It’s the right orientation for aero bars. It’s only for Discord on Zwift

Anyway, Discord worked well but geez, turning thatApp off is a royal PITA. The only way I could do it was to go into the app control and turn off all permissions (until next time)
I’m sure there’s an answer here somewhere, if I want to scroll through 200 messages, but would anyone know why my turbo trainer doesn’t lay the power down when I’m in the holding pen before the start of an event/race? Adjusts power once started, but if I want to get/keep my muscles warm by spinnning up, holding some power for a few minutes before a race my turbo doesn’t allow this. I just can’t get any power.
Very strange. Certainly not my experience. What turbo are you using?
Wahoo Kickr. Sent the query into Zwift Support and they said that this is normal if you are in the start pen. It is intended for light warmup. Said if I wanted more structured or powerful warm up then to stay out on the road and join the event 5 minutes beforehand.
I have done it in the past with my old trainer and everyone else I know can lay down the power in the start pens to warm up, but it’s not working with this new trainer.
