There’s no “i” in team
But there is “me” if you jumble it up a bit
So who signs-up for this?
Unemployed graduate?
Retired person?
Out of work Nanny?
At least you don’t have to get him out of bed for 102 days.
Who do we know that’s retired and lives in Wales
A sports-related influencer who wants paying to piggyback on Sean’s followers probably. Living in a van.
It would be very dull, he at least makes that clear.
Not a lot of money, unsociable hours … but also much better than income support.
Someone who wants to train full time (in the morning) and have some money, which will be saved as no time to spend it, would be my guess.
13 weeks @ £700 = £9,100
That’s a decent new bike and a foreign IM trip with some money left over (would be quite a lot left over for any bike I might buy! )
Anyone with enough time to do this, is either very rich or likely to be having some kind of UC. That would affect their payments badly.
Legalities regarding working 7days a week straight for 13 weeks? Presume you’d just be a contractor/self employed so no issues.
A student or young adult, living at home? Well under the income tax threshold, better than waiting on tables or working in a bar IMHO
yeah possibly. Looking at the ‘JD’ though, it will take quite a level of maturity and endurance to see this through.
I’m assuming the £700 includes what you would spend on food, fuel and power at home?
All relative though innit. Mr in the sports industry earns less…
Fair point
I seem to be on my own here but I’d happily do it. I like helping people achieve their goals and challenges. If it wasn’t for the fact you need to live in North Wales I’d drop him a message.
Also - the risk he gets injured and packs it in after 10 days, after you’ve cleared your diary for 102.
I think I’d rather stick pins in my eyes. Anyway, the person needs to be in Gogland - I’m in Hwntwland.
Mr has all the qualifying requirements for the job. He still rolled his eyes when I told him about it last night
He did an iron distance training day today
I drove 194 miles
I don’t think it’s been announced yet, but I hope to get out with my good mate Sean when he starts the 102 challenge again soon.
I know some of you follow him on Strava so you’ll have seen he’s actually trained for this one. It’ll be interesting to see how the months unfold.
Tenterhooks
Contain yourself
I’ll see if I can catch up on a ride before he quits this time
