Imagine my surprise. Lost count of how many times. Guy in my club has got twice on the ballot and on the forst go at Ride London.
I first started running must be 12 years ago. Pretty sure Ive tried for the last 10. Might have been the odd year I didnt bother.

Didn’t there used ti be a rule where you gut a place after xxxx rejections?
I think that was canned when they moved from Flora to Virgin as the main sponsor.

It was a no for me too.
I’m more than a bit relieved. Got a bit caught up in the event when I put my name in the hat. Now I have to survive the club allocations.

I think that became untenable when they switched to online entries, so it became easier to chuck in an entry and the number of people in the ballot increased.
I remember the days when you had to fill in a paper form to enter
