Tdf2020 SPOILER ALERT!

Landa for this win tomorrow

I really feel looking back that I screwed the pooch on this TdF game.

I can remember thinking I’d put Kamna in as I’d seen him at the Dauphiné doing well, thinking about Rolland as he used to be with Drapac and I am a cannondale fanboy, settled instead on Teejay VG who has done nothing.

Then twice I’ve screwed myself by not reading the rules when making changes, the latest seeing me have Greg VA rather than Adam Yates, who I’d wanted. But I already had AY in my team in the first week, so spectacularly poor planning to want him back later…duh.

Reckon we all have similar regrets?

Hopefully I can hang on for the Everton cup (7th place for you non-football fans) but I doubt it.

Maybe I’d be better with something I have a bit more knowledge in. Do you suppose one day they’ll produce a football version of fantasy TdF?

Surely that’s one of the best ever stages of Le Tour?
He was also 8 minutes back :rofl::rofl:

But in reality, still Pog and Rog show tomorrow or is Miguel A Lopez going to manage to turn the narrative on its head?

I’m still waiting to be able to call it the Sloven-iron War…

Nearly there…

Fireworks ahead, both Pog and Rog really need to take some time.

I thought it was all about the GC winner and maybe guessing a few jersey wins.

In fact its all about the stage result. Doh.

Anyway, youre a few hundred points ahead of me - stop moaning! Ill get you yet, cully!

We shall see.

I suppose this year it looks to be between Rog (that you have admitted you don’t have) and Pog. And come the 2nd to last day TT, it’s surely a shoot out between Pog, Rog, Alaphillippe (think I’ve mississippied his name) and maybe Porte?

In that case, I reckon JA’s tendency to have mechanicals and require 3 bikes a stage may come back to haunt him.

Richie will probably find a lamppost to hit. :joy:

Leaves Rog and Pog. And you have conspicuously avoided Rog…

Do you mean this…

Keeping up the tradition of no Sky/Ineos leader reaching Paris without the yellow jersey since 2012.

Interesting to see Sir Dave saying he’s looking forward to rebuilding the team and the coaching staff.

Wonder if there’ll be any sniggers from Froome or G, although TBF I don’t think either were particularly in form for it?

G looked pretty bloody good at Tirreno-Adriatica

Are you on of those people who never commit to a decision at work for fear of being wrong and reprimanded?

“Well…if you think that’s what we should do…”

They knew it was coming, and ‘volunteered’ for other tours.

I think the tour has been waiting a long time for this, now there’s blood in the water the sharks will be circling. It will be an uphill battle next year, excusingthe pun

haha nope.

I posed it as a question to be a talking point in the thread with people who know more about this stuff than i do; but i am now shamelessly claiming to have got it right myself!:rofl:
