The 2019 weigh-in thread

Just been told I’m at a black tie awards on Nov 29th so 4.5 weeks to get into my tux.
It’s gonna be close.
184cm
96kg (guess based on how fat I am) weighing in tomorrow.

Started a detox on Sunday, no sugar, less red meat and lots of veg. <2100 cal a day and actually training a bit too after my bike accident.

Weighed in this morning at the gym. No food and a small drink.
184cm (I’m not shrinking)
94.5kg
30% body fat :face_vomiting::disappointed:

Should be some easy loss if I keep my willpower.

The machine said I should weigh between 63kg and 82kg. 63kg :flushed:

I get that if I use those machines in Boots - the lower end of the range tells me I need to lose more bodyfat than I actually have so you’re into cutting off body parts or superfluous organs.

Well I apparently have bang on 30kg of fat mass (31.8%). I’d chop my belly off but I’m not losing a leg.

4 days off training and down a kilo or so.

80.9kg

Still haven’t weighed myself since before Hamburg. Wonder what the damage is.

Week started OK but fizzled out a bit at weekend resulting in no change. 95.4kg (15st dead so that illusive 14st something is still over the horizon)

Bugger!
Forgot to weigh myself post-spin this morning, then demolished three eggs, spinach and beans.

Scales at the gym have been broken for ages…

Woo hoo!

72.3 kg. Lost focus and duly punished with a rise :frowning:. Time to get serious etc…

“what happens in Vegas, stays in Vegas” - lies!!! I seem to have brought 2kg of them back with me

94.9kg and finally broke the into the 14st bracket. It took me 4 weeks to get from 15st 2lb to 14st 13lb. Progress is harder to come by now but finally cracking that landmark feels great, next stop 90kg (at which point 13st something wouldn’t be far away but mustn’t get ahead of myself)

You’re doing well! Only successful diet is the one that gets stuck to, slow consistent chipping away is the best approach for long term health.

99kgs this morning, so one of the fat lads. I do badly when I dont have a tangible goal to work towards. But now that I have an entry for London next year, its game on.

Still not stood on the scales sine Hamburg…or looked at my TT bike in the travel case

I hit a low of just over 71kg in April, managed to keep my weight just over 73kg for race season, After Nice in early September weight went up to 76.5kg by the end October. Started to watch my diet again and training with more structure since start of November, weight now back below 75kg.

It’s so hard keeping the weight down :unamused:

I’ve definitely stalled

6 weeks of literally no exercise has seen me rise back up over 74kgs for the 2nd time this year. It’s easy to see why when i look down! Though the past 2 weeks i’ve tried to pull my eating down a notch with the lack of calorie burning going on right now!

It’ll drop as soon as i start running again though.

80.2kg today so down overall but bodyfat up 1%

This might be one for the rant thread, but bloody Doritos. Just can’t keep away from them at the moment. Avoiding the scales.
