94.9 (same as last week). What with the floods & a tickly throat/cold that won’t go away, wasn’t the best weeks training and yesterday was pretty much a write-off culminating with a few beers watching the football. I was worried I might slip back over 15st but stayed at 14st13 so that’s something.
My trousers still fit; still using the same belt hole
4 kg increase in two weeks, my normal friends have stopped saying are you Ill?!
My bodybuilding friends have started asking if I want to do chest and tri”s ( nothing to do with swim, bike or run) …!
Punch power in boxing is dramatically improved, dreading the first run in December…!
Refusing to step on the scales of doom at the mo, I know i’m eating badly and not exercising enough, only plus is i’m still on the same belt notch, so should that change maybe I will start trying a bit harder!
0.8lbs lost this week for me - but that was 10 days of no alcohol and a reduced appetite due to antibiotics, coupled with an increased training load!
I need to stop eating butter
69 Kgs Monday, then 66.2 Kgs this AM - what’s all that about, certainly doesn’t feel healthy?
Mass dehydration or a day off the coffee, shit food and alcohol. No way. Must be dehydration. Having said that, yesterday early AM ride on MTB for 1.5 hours in -8 may have had some effect? Any ideas folks?
So I did it. “74.1 no damage done”
Happy with that mid Nov with all the food I’m putting away. Christmas could be an issue though!
I’d watch that…
I’ve weighed myself a lot in the last two years.
That’s knocking on for half a stone…!?
It’s winter… why?
Can only be water but that’s still a big jump in a very short time
- I’m heavier than you
2.If you ever decide to move on the R2 c shifters … first dibs. - Winter is coming …
Feeling like the runt of the litter here
Half marathon 9 weeks away, been running 60-85km per week and off the grog for the last 6. Body fat scales quite helpful.
Nothing happening for
Me, still fluctuating in the usual 80-81kg range, 19-20% BF.
74kg this week so 8kg up from September race. Not great but I’m going to reduce that now as starting to feel really uncomfortable and I’ll also need to buy new trousers for work if I’m not careful.
Lady at work actually called me out on fattening up - though I estimate I’m still 10kg behind her. Funny how people are happy to comment on weight. I really wanted to say ‘you’re still a fat c*** though’.
They’re really not.
Only when they’re overweight, or obese, and the recipient is well within the healthy BMI scale.
My wife gets it all of the time, though if she called them fat and told them to stop eating (the opposite of saying - you’re thin, why don’t you eat something?) she’d be marched into the HR office.
Back in the day, I’d know race weight was getting close when colleagues and family started saying I looked ill and tired. Friends would congratulate me
Yeah, agree with all that. They’re jealous of my sporting prowess and feel inadequate whan measuring themselves against this five times Ironman in the office😂
If they saw me after mile four of the run in Almere they might have been less impressed - I see them run quicker to the microwave in the staff kitchen at 11.59 most days.
Getting your lunch in at 1159 to ping at 1203 is the best office feeling!!!
Queuing for the one microwave that works is the worst - especially when some twit warms up their fish curry
Anyway, despite my consistent 10+ hour training weeks, I’m only dropping 0.5lbs per week.
But, I’ve not felt that run down or tired or weak - so it’s all good, right?
My money’s on twins
Haha…felt like it dragging my fat arse around parkrun this morning! I’m back on it now though.
Hit 75+ last week which is silly for an athletic midjit!
Weights and protein shakes piles it on, different sessions this week so I’ll be 73 … ish
Monday morning.
But unless your A race is at Christmas does it really matter…?!
It is. And I’m as heavy as I have ever been!
93.2kg yesterday morning. 1.7kg off in 2 weeks, heading in the right direction.
