The 2020 weigh-in thread

If you can observe shape change then I would say Jorgan is right … you’ve almost certainly lost some of the bad stuff, whilst developing some of the good stuff. That’s surely still a positive?

I’m going to stick with it for the moment and give it to the end of Feb. Weight loss should always be gradual and yes, shape change/increased power to weight is my ultimate goal, not weight loss for its own sake.

Continuing downward to 105.1 on the SAFS Diet.

Swimming and Fracking Starving.

So, apparently I am 80kg, with a fat-free mass of 68.5kg.

Fat is therefore 11.5kg, which is ~15% fat.

20% of that is around my torso, with my arms being under 14% and my legs being ~16%…

…or at least, that’s what the scales tell me!

I’m in the same boat as @Jgav.

I’ve increased the amount of exercise, improved my diet but my weight hovers around 80/81 kgs. Belly is definitely looking smaller too

How do you look in Speedos?

Asking for a friend.

I look good. Damn good :sunglasses:

82.1kg wearing my joggers, 21.7%BF

Doh. Maybe that large Wetherspoons breakfast before weigh in was a bad move.

67.9 Kgs this AM. I must have been very dehydrated!

Wearing joggers/different times of day always obscures things. Weight fluctuates enough with hydration/energy stores, so I at least weigh self first thing AM after emptying bladder to have minor continuity.

I weigh myself in the evening. It stops me troughing more food after dinner.

Mine’s always c. 10.30pm on a Monday never going to be a big training day so most factors remain similar

67.8 perhaps it is true!

Always weigh the second I awake, sometime betwixt 0345 and 0600.

Calorie restriction by way of no food before 12.30pm mon-fri and was closing in on 80Kg until 3/4 of a box of Xmas chocs last night! Keeping away from the scales and went to HIM pace for the first time in months.

76.7kg last night for a 700g loss over the past week, total 2.5kg - slow and steady is this week’s excuse and I’m sticking to it

Mmm 77kg this morning, that’s 0.7 up from last week.

Time to start using MFP again. Accountability

That sounds exactly like me. I use MFP for a few weeks to get a kickstart and then think “I’ve got this sussed now” so stop. The little treats start sneaking back in, that you wouldn’t do if you were having to record them.
ETA - 77kg doesn’t sound anything like me though, you’ve got a 20kg head start!

I’ve been tracking my weight every day, which is something I’ve not done before. Quite interesting to see that every weekend I tend to add a bit of weight, somewhere between 0.5-1kg. Even though I usually do more hours in those two days than in the rest of the week, Inassume that as I’m spending more time on the sofa too and snacking just that little bit more, some weight creeps back on.
