Opposite for me. Every time my gf goes to the shops or places an online order, she buys loads of chocolate and cheese. And each lunchtime we’re having a full on meal. I’d normally only have a snack at lunch, and only if sweets/choc if there is stuff about the office. With huge boxes of Lindor in almost every room of the flat, I can’t resist.
I’m trying super hard to not just stuff my face. Think we may need to batch cook some healthy lunch stuff, as we’ve just stocked up on crisps, chocoloate, biscuits and the like!
We did make a big portion of this stir fried cauli, pineapple, carrot and cashew dish. That lasted two main meals and three lunches. All healthy veg.
Yeah I think I’m going to suffer from some chocolate withdrawal. I’m inhaling biscuits on the sly though
97.2kg, up from 96.3 last week after first week of working from home.
Struggled to get into a routine at the start and whilst I wasn’t snacking too much in the day, I was in the evenings. I think it’s because I’m finishing exercise & evening meal earlier now so by 9/10pm I’m peckish again.
I’m eating pretty badly at the moment and somehow I was pleasantly surprised to be 85.9kg when I weighed myself this morning, bar a couple of dehydrated readings it is the lightest I have been this year!
Super light at 68.5kg now. This healthy eating lark has become a filthy habit.
Are the fish and chip shops open🤔 Large rock and chips might sort me out - not sure it’s essential to be fair!
Dropping weight still without too much effort, now 67.1kg. Basically, racing weight without the fitness!
Conscious effort to not go lower, eat well and perhaps add a bit of muscle.
77 kg I’ll be at race weight within a couple of weeks
94.7kg (down from 97.2 last week)
Well that’s a bit of a surprise. I was hoping for a better week as I’ve got into a bit of a routine and cut out most of the snacking but not that good.
Don’t think I’m dehydrated but I did have a huge takeaway last Sunday so maybe that figure was unusually high.
73.3kg - up 300g the blame for which I’m laying at WFH’s door
you should see what made up most of my trolley in Tesco this morning!
Snack heaven!!
there was also loads of fresh fruit - but the girls will destroy all the nice soft fruit. The veg will all be left to me and my wife though
74.2kg.
Notched a 71.7kg before all this lockdown/wfh nonsense began.
Completely expected and thoroughly deserved; hopefully this weigh in (and the resulting change in Zwift weight) will give me the jackboot up the derrière to sort this.
I think some form of racing will commence late summer, it may only be small local stuff, park runs, time trials but I’d regret it bitterly if it did happen and I was a fat, unfit mess…
Down to 85.2 now, seems the turbo in the morning and regular running at lunchtime is offsetting the slightly rubbish diet I have at the moment, i’m trying to avoid junk but the snacks are proving difficult to resist!
81.8kg
DooooOOOOOHH!
I’ve found that working in the penthouse suite has dramatically reduced snacking. I’m almost starving myself (there are some in society that would strongly refute this suggestion).
Back downstairs working Han today, and the snacking has dramatically increased.
Got two days of leave tomorrow and Fri. Wonder what I should do on my days off?! (eat! )
UP!
~185lbs, if I was to guess.
I’ve put on ~6lbs in the past three weeks (since 9th March, when my taper began for the half marathon)
That’s a pretty decent increase.
My exercise is now a third of what it was, at ~4hrs per week. Max.
93.8kg (down from 94.7 last week)
I’m not doing any more exercise than before the lockdown (if you include commuting) but the combination of 30mins row at lunchtimes and an hour bike or run in the evenings seems to have shocked by body into some progress after being stuck for a while.
For some reason, lockdown is helping my weight loss. Down to a solid 78kg and have seen it start with a 77 a couple of times.
May just be loss of muscle due to less exercise?
79.6kg…post half marathon
I’m bouncing between high 85 and 87.5kg but if I don’t get my snacking under control, that will ballon in a couple of weeks. My LD runs used to help here.
Unfortunately, doing DIY takes my mind off of food. Think I’d rather be fat.
