‘Bloating’ is basically embellishing your military career. Walts are generally civilians pretending to be ex (occasionally serving) military.
There is a company called TSFE who do events; the guy who runs that is ex 264 Sig Sqn. 264 is now part of 18 UKSF Signals Regt and legit SF. Google it and you can see the difference between them and the ‘Tier 1’ units. This Lyndon Rees character tried to make fraudulent claims against TSFE I believe.
Still slots on 6th Feb, with the benefit of a later 9am start; don’t all rush The Saturday always seems more popular, but I am so used to doing events on Sundays. I think my first IM70.3 was my only ever Saturday triathlon.
I can take the sections of patio slab out of my bergen this weekend
We were in Brecon the week after Christmas, son and I started up Corn Du but turned back twice. 8 or 9 degrees which didn’t sound too bad, but with horizontal heavy driving rain and really poor visibility. We got soaked despite allegedly waterproof outer layer & were both pretty cold.
We probably could have dressed better, but I’m not sure how - would not fancied the full Fan Dance in those conditions. Light rain sounds better potentially, good luck.
