The over 50's

So it does. Suitably obscure frame material but perhaps I wouldn’t be very good at playing Pointless.

Caretaker at work, a Nepalese guy in his 20s, today said "you do a lot of exercise. In my country old people do not do so much exercise " :sob:

Anyone else on here rent a house out ?
I’m pretty sure the new “ rules “ won’t affect me.
Hopefully !?

However buying another one early next year now looks a lot less attractive all of a sudden despite a huge increase in forecasted rents.

Life is never easy ( relatively speaking !)

It’s not when you buy, it’s when you renew a tenancy agreement that will affect you.

I had the “ perfect “ renter
He then fell in love … bastid ! ( she’s buying her own house, much younger … wants a kid … sound familiar ) lol
See what the budget brings …
Then hopefully find a nice long term deal

I can’t believe a Labour government is going to be a friend of the buy-to-let landlord :man_shrugging:

I’m hoping to buy for cash !
Price wise there pretty static here at the min loads for sale with people already in … I like that situation ( that’s what happened 9 years ago, been a dream so far)
But you can’t sling them out, even if they don’t pay there rent ? That is crazy.
See how we go next year .
