Changed to a new bed/mattress about 10 days ago, sleep score has improved massively and consistently.
Went from a foam thing to a more old school sprung jobby, I wish had had done this ages ago.

That’s amazing! My sleep is rubbish and a constant target of mine to improve. My 7 day average sleep score is 56
which is pretty normal. Your score is a good motivator for me.
Did you lock the family in the cellar ![]()
Oosh… I got 89 which is higher than I’ve seen in a long time too.
My 7 day average is 74, 4w average is 70. I think I do all the right things but always wake an hour or so earlier than I’d like.
Sadly mine wasn’t great today and I’m fairly sure I had a migraine in my sleep ![]()
So feeling a bit rickety
Grr, sleep score of 55 and been awake since about 2am
can’t think what was on my mind ![]()
I did get in faster though.
Had to work through the whole of Tuesday night, Wednesday I left work at 11.00am to do a bit of half term exploring in London (the Cutty Sark - not really worth the admission fee TBH) unsurprisingly had a good sleep last night and still recovering this morning. Dragging myself into the office nonetheless.
Last night was an odd night for sleep, or not. I fell asleep quickly but went through multiple phases of really odd but nasty dreams, almost would say nightmares. Kept waking up in a panic, would then take a while to get back to sleep and would instantly go back into a dream.
Consequently Im fooking knackered today.
That’s weird, so did I. Went to bed at a reasonable time, only had one beer but had sleep full of nasty dreams. I woke up at 6 and thought eff this I need to get up!
How odd. Last night was better, no dreams, but woke at 6 and couldnt get back to sleep.
Got up made dough for flat breads, got the kitchen squared away, get the windows open for a bit of Stoßlüften, prepped some picked jalapeños and red onions. Off to take daughter to volunteering now. Busy day at its just gone 8
Getting shit done though
I had 7 pints and got in at 1.30 so had a crap sleep! ![]()
Had a nice evening with mates at an old man pub though. ![]()
Got it on Strava though ![]()
Same here. Got drunk twice this week, sleep fucked, so invalidates the training before.
Such an idiot. But I’ll do it again. ![]()
5.5km swim yesterday with 2x 1km time trials.
90 sleep score last night ![]()
So tired today, I’ll be in bed about 8 I think! Was pretty much up at 4am UK time on Sunday and didn’t get to bed until after 3am this morning, getting too old for this
and 42K steps yesterday.
And my Garmin stats certainly show it.
We weren’t doing bad on the way home and landed just about midnight, but we were then held on the plane as they wanted some bloke to come forward, he didn’t so everyone had to leave at the front with 4 police (at least one armed) looked for him and checked some passports ![]()
Managed to find my car eventually and the early part of the journey was alright, it was almost relaxing on the M60/62 with barely a couple of trucks for company. I then hit Leeds and was diverted onto the M621 as the M62 was closed, the M621 is also having work done so 50mph average speed cameras.
Eventually get going and then there’s a 10 mile stretch for barrier work which is barely a couple of hundred metres, why do they close so much of it instead of having it rolling. This was also 50 with cameras.
Got going again and then the bloody A1 is closed so a diversion, a missed turn, some country lanes before re-joining at Wetherby ![]()
Woke up about 9am and although I’ve been at work this afternoon it was mostly dealing with the fluff in the mailbox.
I’m now feeling so tired I’m getting a headache and clumsy.
nightmare - the last bit of the journey so often seems the worst
You probably said & I missed it, but did you travel with a bike, or hire/pinch one over in Malta?
