Training - What Training?!

I didn’t think anyone would get that reference

Easy 30mins was nothing unusual. Although I did notice how much warmer the pain cave is now the glaciers have retreated.

For the first time HRV does seem to
Be reflecting my health:

Unfortunately it’s indicating that I’m getting worse! Not better :frowning:

Probably will do the easy run this evening.

Gym for me this morning.

Rowing. 20 minutes hard. 1 minute flat out.

S&C. 3 sets each of calf raises, military presses and sit ups.

Before the start, did you use the now legendary ‘I’ll let you come second!’ ?

Not until he’s paid his licence fee

Still feel like ass.
Out of breath walking up and down stairs :face_exhaling:

Gonna dose up and attempt a very short Zwift later.

(Really, I just wanna go sit in a steam room and sauna - but my gym doesn’t have them )

Maybe just rest, @Poet?

Agrees. Doubt there’s anything to be gained by pooling for 20-30mins.

Pfft - what’s that???

Got bathroom to paint and tidy, as the tradesmen were absolutely shite (insurance job / none of them have a shit)

Garden to sweep and hose after next doors builders have made a right mess of it.

Nip out to buy some 33-34” trousers :pig::pig2:

Silicone and paint the kitchen skirting board where the floor has sank slightly due to next doors builders :face_with_symbols_over_mouth:

No time for rest!!!

wut!

A shocking 7.3 mile run :man_running: :dash: ===

Hadn’t run since Friday AM - when I felt light and nimble.

Today I felt like a sack of potatoes. At least that’s the pipes flushed out. Hilly though

Finally time to test the body out, so went for a Zwift spin to see how it went. Was worried about my knee which is quite sore till.

Tested it with ten mins easy. Seemed OK. Knee was much happier once moving, so that was positive.

Then wanted to test how things were before trying an iTT. So joined the 3w/kg pacer, aiming for 30 mins. Ended up pretty comfortable and actually did 16 mins in aero to take the weight off my hands. Knee started to ache a bit for the last 5.

Will see how it reacts tonight/tmw.

I think I’d recommend a full test tonight at maybe 7:30?

60 minutes of aero fun

The 3rd 50 m run … x20 exercise circuit… this week.
Up to 90 mins now.

Av hr 142 so quite hard for so many static exercises. This one was 90 mins long.

10 press ups a min for 30 mins, I’m bored AF with press ups but I’m very close to a ridiculous yearly total so plodding on.

Really struggled this week, I’ve seriously threatened two people ( one was a woman!)
I was seconds away from punching her all over tescos first isle, which would probably be over reacting, I’ve also bust into tears … first time I’ve cried for ages, for no apparent reason.

Probably my dad I’m guessing …?!
Been advised to go sick this weekend but they are already in the shite.

Exercise keeps me sane … ish at times I think

Never wanted to punch anyone in a Tesco aisle… Morissons occasionally

Seriously tho - after 3 days without exercise I imagine most here begin to malfunction

Take a deep breath - no one is worth punching (except in reasonable self defence!)

Those people that put the items into the bag at self service - AFTER they’ve paid. They need punching
