If you are already on edge with something like that it doesn’t take much to wind you up. The thing is that you didn’t hit them even if you had a go.

Sounds like you need to think of yourself, have the week off, try to ease back. Possibly still recovering from the virus a few weeks ago as well?

Yes take it easy @Mungo2 - I heard a news report on prison officers while I was getting changed in the gym yesterday. Obviously immediately thought of you. Iirc 1 in 7 officers left the job last year (may be wrong) which is just staggering but probably highlights how hard the job is - go easy on yourself

Had a few long chats with my nearest and dearest and a very Frank talk with the union head / boxing buddy.

They all said phone in sick but that just adds to the problem, and it’s a huge Problem Jeff, the service is in melt down, it’s a massive shame.

Yes Adam people leaving in there droves old timers can get Ill health retirement / pension lump sum ( two payouts) and walk away.

The decent young uns are all going to police, fire, ambo… Tesco! Really !!

Any violence wouldn’t have been self defence, and the two minor incidents didn’t warrant any violence at all. Been offered tablets, counselling, the usual shite.
Life’s hard right now thankful for friends IRL and virtual x

@Mungo2, I took it out on the poor British Gas women last week.

Anyway, gym for me this morning.

5k row.
2 sets each of donkey kicks, weighted bridges, sumo squats, calf raises and sit ups.

Will swim tonight.

So no training for me :sob:

This time last year, I’d just finished the pre-Festive 500km, doing 503km in just five days.
The last ride was a bit icy and a car pulled left, just in front of me, just I clipped over 500km, went into the side, they couldn’t see as they’d not de-iced the car. Luckily, not injured.

I’d totally forgot I’d done that :joy::rofl:

I’m not right either, sore throat, bit bunged and coughing. Think my tonsils are inflamed as well.

No headache though and HR isn’t particularly high.

I’ll just go for a walk again. Bit of a shame as there’s some huge packs on Zwift that I could be get points from!

Hoping this will stop it getting worse.
