Is the 312 this Saturday?

Guessing you won’t be doing the Andratx South to North ride? I oddly “enjoyed” that - despite my feet swelling to the size of buckets on the main climb.
I also hated the Ma-10 descent back to town :rage:

It rained 3/5 days for me.
And one of those days the wind was too strong to cycle properly in!
My group rode the length of the island with a tailwind, then got the train back to Sa Pobla :joy:
I had a plane to catch so did 66km flat.

The only nice day was the Andratx ride one, luckily!!!

I’m on the waiting list so I’m hoping that if I rock up to registration tomorrow with cash then I can get an entry. If I do the 225 distance that will tick off Andrax. If I can’t get an entry then I’ll have Sat as a rest day and maybe do the taxi to Andrax and cycle home thing on Sunday when presumably it’ll be quieter. The descent into Soller can be busy and a bit shit, is that the road you mean? I usually do MA-10 all the way, maybe with Sa Colobra thrown in if I’m feeling great.

Ha ha specific roads round here got all done in super quick time especially for the Tour of Britain by the council as they wouldn’t add it to the Tour otherwise as they were in such a shit state. Queen died and they canned off the last few days so didn’t come. Thought they might add it back in for this year. Just checked the calendar…they haven’t :joy:

Hated it.
Soller was awesome … although one of our lot went into the back of a bus in Deia :exploding_head::hear_no_evil::face_with_peeking_eye:

Nothing today as I had a full on day at Tichfield, then got caught up in a mother of a jam on the M3.

I’m in that horrible space where I’m trying to look after my calf but mentally freaking out about not training with a big race just 3.5 wks away.

What I do find is that when I’m not training, I still manage to fill my day and wonder how the hell I have time normally. I was like that when I was made redundant as well, wondering how I had time for a job? :smile:

Shame the route didn’t follow more of the White Way. That road could really do with being resurfaced, only half of it is useable. Although looks like the bits they did do were done quick/cheap, already starting to break up.

Someone always comes a cropper. In previous trips we’ve had a rider cop a wing mirror in the face, and another come off on the tram tracks in Soller and break a wrist.

Commute in today but rest of the day a write off thanks to “non training stress” and getting public transport home.

May be because I was under so much stress but pretty sure everyone was trying to kill me on the road this morning.

Another double day.

30 minutes in the gym first thing.
2k row, 2 sets each of calf raises, military presses and sit ups.

2k swim lined up tonight.

I feel your pain brother !

After my hardest bike/ run session I ran for an alarm bell in work, the young uns took off but I reeled them in over 400ms ( most of them vape and a bit of ketamine at the weekend so it’s no real boast) when I stopped my calf was very very tight.

Very easy Pt session this morning the last few have been crazy tough, so due an easy one.

At it for sure tomorrow !

Take it easy on yourself mate. You do massive volume, so no harm in resting.
