Quite slow and tiring.

Glorious day for it
Reward time now - lunch with Mrs T
Mrs T out tonight volunteering at the theatre. Daughter on a night shift at the hospital. Might be Maverick and a pizza tonight. Good times.
1st proper long ride of the year, 78 miles and not destroyed, so this is the start of the long ride weekends. Something bit me on the arm and already itching like mad
Trained twice today, sort of.
30 minutes in the gym first thing.
2k row, 3 ascending sets of calf raises, military presses and an cycles.
Ate a big, fast food lunch.
30 minutes spin class this afternoon.
Went for a run after work today with a German guy who lives on the compound. He’s doing Roth in July and is in full beast mode. He seems hyperorganised by his online German coach and had a 2 hour run mapped out by the minute in terms of HR, power and water stops. Had even left a coolbox with drinks on his front doorstep and looped back after 1 hour to pick a cold bottle up.
I’m the complete opposite of that but ran alongside him for the first hour jabbering away and don’t think annoyed him too much.
Lets hear his opinion on that
What do those emojis mean?
they are a bit worrying now you mention it. Encroach on my quiet run again and I’ll hit you, possibly
Maybe he’s concerned that he’s paying stacks for a top coach and some pasty English bloke has just rocked up and treating it as an easy run
And where’s he going to insert the thumb?
I’d love his take, @fruit_thief.
This English guy shuttered on for an hour talking about Fosters, taking feet pictures and some online forum which sounds like a cult.
On the upside. You didn’t have to run the horrible penzance section by the looks of it.
We drove through it to pick up the other guy. It looks horrible in Penzance dodging the tourists. It’s really weird, when you’re on the remote path you want to see some civilisation but when you see everyone eating and drinking and having fun, you just want them all to FRO.
Where does the actual road bit start? i thought it was Marazion but CP2 was Perranuthcoe, so I’m still not really sure?
didn’t feel strong
So for last week, 5h on the bike, 2h 20 of run. No swim until wounds cleared up. About 2 hours core and strength and of course the obiligatory roller (ouch, ouch and double ouch) and stretching incl yoga plough, I find the stretching all very meditative.
Now a Sat and Sun rest day for those pesky wounds to heal.
67.6 kgs this AM, getting very close now to near where I want to be which is great.
2hrs in on the trainer. Legs aching. Thinking about quiting.
Only done 35 minutes and I’ve stopped for a peppermint slice and tea
Nice and sunny, merino wool might not be such a good idea
