I’ve done naff all for two weeks :face_with_peeking_eye::roll_eyes:
Week1 was sorting life admin out - cleaned and fettled all my bikes and all that jazz :white_check_mark:
Week2 - I got ā€œnot covidā€ - no sleep for two nights due to coughing, sore ribs and a headache.

About to go out for an 8-80km spin now.

8km if I feel like death.
80km loop with plenty of bail options :white_check_mark::+1:t3:

EDIT: 79.6km at 27.3kmh on the 15kg winter steel bike.

Absolutely loved the 3hrs of torrential rain :umbrella::cloud_with_rain:

Nothing today. In my tumble yesterday, I knew I’d banged my leg but hadn’t realised how hard I went down on my arm. Feels like I’ve been skiing badly for a week :sleepy:

Stars aligned for another solid week with a swim booked tonight. Happy with my running elevation but it kills my faster Tues night sessions :worried:.

Tatton Park Half with Mrs T

First 10km sub 1 hr

The wheels then came off big time with a lot of cramp for her second half.

2:16 for her slowest half (excluding trail half’s)

Conditions were absolutely shit - rained the whole time

Massive queue to get out of the car park

Should we have stayed in bed instead?

Her third half in 4 weeks to be fair

A nice week with some good strength work a longer swim and a park run pb yesterday, I could moan about my ankle but after 10 hours a week average for the last decade or so what the duck do you expect?!

7 hours again this week, pretty solidly in that area now.

30K running but I’m not feeling it with my running yet but I’ll keep going, it was heavy underfoot today and I’d had a rough night.

Just over 3 hours on the bike but 2 decent sessions on Zwift earlier in the week so some quality.

Swim is just generally short sessions with different length reps and the odd harder effort here and there.

Ticking over nicely though.

Errrr

Not a great month!

Managed to get my LFA out for one run this week. Chest still very tight when pushing past about 75% or so. Can tick along OK, but anymore effort and it just clamps shut. Kids are bringing in so many germs and illnesses at the mo.

Almost 13 hours mainly steady zone 0-1-2 stuff. But Did venture out to the track for some 1km reps earlier in the week. Hit 3m30 for the first one, but got rapidly slower and #5 was about 4 minutes. Everything else pretty slow, including about 3 hours running with Mrs at sub 7 minute km pace which I’m not sure should be counting. So maybe call it 10 hours.

Still, a good base week and the knee which was creaking over the summer finally seems betteršŸ™

11 hours last week. 4hrs bike, 6h30m run and 30m swim. Decent time particularly as I had a couple of days off when i just couldn’t be arsed.

Highlights were a 3h20m run Sunday where I ignored HR and pace and just went exploring. Went down every footpath I saw that I’d not been on before and ran through a lot of mud and fields. Loved it.
Also did a Zwift race in the week and actually managed a sprint for once. Didn’t get close to a win but pleased to actually sprint (for me)
