Run that one by me again
I smile when I think back to the lockdowns when yoga became my primary activity on Strava .
I don’t smash yoga/pilates quite as much nowadays but it has probably provided me with many more injury free training sessions over the years than if I hadn’t started.
I am really enjoying it at the moment - I am pretty hopeless as I am so inflexible but I can feel the benefits already
I just have to keep it up and not fall into the trap of giving it up as soon as I can feel those little niggles have gone
Think I need to get on that train. There is a channel by a guy called Chris Branch that I find useful as well.
5:20am ish is normal wake up time for the mental dog
Presumably you are referring to an actual canine, maybe in your house, rather than to our esteemed early-rising colleague ?
Poor week so far from me.
But managed to get out for a warm and humid 14km at lunchtime. Felt pretty ragged for the first 5km or so, like i was on a sugar low, before my greedy body remembered the deal and just settled in to my familiar rhythm!
Oh you flirt.
Did you see @buzz this morning?! In the pool at about 4am or something!
The real hero, here.
Evesham parkrun
Another third place
Just an easy one, a fair bit of grass and off road on this one.
Unsure of time
19:30 ish perhaps (splits as below, course came
Up GPS long, it probably about right)
Fairly easy as up early to walk the dogs and drive a fair bit to this
Ran with daughter this morning on her long run for this week (week 3 of training for London mara 2025)
Ran just over 10km
Second 5km PB this week - having knocked off 3 mins off her Strava best on Wednesday night, casually knocked another 50 seconds off today) and a 10km PB today as well
20 mins of yoga afterwards
20km with the dog this morning around Rivington and up to White Coppice
Really nice and warm
Dog is pooped now
Was out yesterday doing two seperate events as Pool.
Left the house at 6am, cheeky little hour long OWS swim and then one event in Bexleyheath from 10-4, then quick drive to Cineworld in Basildon from 5:30-8:30.
Suffice to say I’ve had an easy morning.
Am now embarking on a stupid idea to get some more heat prep and am out for a 2-3 hour easy ride.
If I die, avenge me
Off on a mini adventure.
'tis a tad warm! Have scouted out a few churches en route as potential water refill spots.
This is going to be something ridiculous like a 3:30 trail marathon isn’t it
Minimum 50km I’m guessing.
Any other takers?
