Haha, hadn’t noticed that! I think that that date is the age of the software/machine?

Well either that or I’m just very shy about posting about my training

1:38. You are taking some big chunks off your HM time on the treadmill. Maybe have a crack at a race?

Let’s not be too hasty now ?!?

Yes a few races this year for sure

The first couple of efforts were the low hr stuff I was talking to joex about, Saturday was Av Hr of 155 so hopefully a touch more yet?

Bolton 70.3 has sold out! But I was looking for a faster course to be honest, prices are way up, I’m currently saving up!
Hope your moving well sparky.

Not so much at the moment

When I said race I was thinking a standalone HM not one of those triathlon things …

Yep one of my targets this year.
I have a hamstring issue that’s a bit weird
Fine up to 13 kph ish for long periods of time but a flat out 5 k might end in disaster at the min

I wouldn’t be swimming 303 lengths in my gym pool if I wasn’t planning on a tri or two this year.

Fully loaded 40min rode on the gravel bike.
Outside. Dark. But warm.

Legs in bits after yesterday. It was a 5 mile run for Gods sake.

Anyway gym this morning. Guess it signals the start of my functional fitness racing.

10 minute row.
Lot of upper body, bit of core, less on calves.

40min? You’ll be needing a new BB now

I’m building my new gravel bike and have spaffed the cash on an Enduro Maxhit stainless steel BB. It’s 5x the cost of the most expensive BB I’ve ever used. Fingers crossed it lasts (though has a lifetime guarantee inc. corrosion). I almost went for Hope… can’t remember what swayed me to Enduro, probably advertising

650b wheels with 50mm tyres? :ok_hand: Nice.

I signed up for the next stage tennis coaching thing at DL. It was 90 quid but its 8x90min sessions, first today and there are only 2 of us on the course.

So not great for meeting other people, but good for some cheap almost one on one coaching.

It’s sooooo lovely being able to do my sport again
Sun: climbing,
Mon: did some strength work and started working on pull-ups again 5x2 normal Ć  la Mungo and 5x2 negative pull-ups. Was easy, but I feel my core today. Am I the only one who gets aching abs when doing pull-ups? Maybe it’s from doing the negatives as slow as possible :woman_shrugging:
Tues: tried jogging again today, 5km, didn’t feel my tooth implant at allšŸ‘

So impressed I’m still working towards pull-ups - using a band to help at the moment .
