Training - What Training?!

11 weeks, but suspect a lot of that will be lost to 3 weeks of nights and then having a wedding.

Most stations I can just about complete on their own but haven’t tried putting together or with running. Presume the runs will need to be the recoveries, and grip/forearms burn will just keep accumulating as it goes on.

I take back any presumption of it being easier than Hyrox :joy:

When you say “ complete “ do you mean get to the end in sets or you can do the whole station with out stopping “ unbroken “ is the word in this world apparently?!

There is quite alot of pacing/ strategy/ technique involved in hyrox I’m guessing this event would have even more ?

The worst bit of the run is the start and you have to do that 12 times ( well 11 after stations) but your running 60% of the total hyrox distance.

I’m going to have a go at something like this, I’m guessing it will be “ quicker “ total time wise than hyrox but If anything even harder.

I have the opposite problem!

I’m confident that I’ll be able to transition. I’m genuinely worried that I won’t be able to complete the reps on some labours.

Can’t wait to see how you go, though!

Is it a southern thing. Anyway… thanks.

Are you doing Cotswolds Middle July 13th?

I’d gift you 5km from my bucket if it worked like that. You’d have to repay me with 15km though for when I cant or dont want to run (its KM interest and exchange rates)

Nice 12K trail run before it got dark tonight, then a token effort in the pool.

Run was a mixed bag, enjoyable and although very steady it’s possibly the best I’ve felt running for a while, but the leg was a bit sore and tight :face_with_symbols_over_mouth: need to see how it goes.

Hoping to ride outside tomorrow :slightly_smiling_face:
