I’ve got a 100-110km route where my total stops are under a minute.
I’ve done 6s before on that route
Yesterday was a disaster for me.
Loads of stops.
80km hilly ish gravel.
Phone call an hour in!
BOA snapped.
Slow puncture that needed a pump.
Squeaky chain.
Temporary roadworks.
Blah blah blah.
I had none of those excuses, just shit legs.
RLJ confession right there.
Anyway, first run in two weeks earlier.
5km. 21:48. 67m elevation.
Punchy!
It is possible to ride your bike without racing everywhere!

Sunday nowt
Monday am 16k easy with zl
Monday pm 5k steady/moderate
No traffic lights - mainly left turns.
Not expecting the next few days to be very productive, still feeling it from Sunday but hopefully the DOMS is peaking. The heat and humidity isn’t helping either because of the office.
As appealing as cold water is I can’t be naffed to swim and my stroke is even worse when I’m like this
Running is definitely out today but if the GF doesn’t want to do anything I might get the bike out.
Got a massage tomorrow which is going to get in the way but hopefully back on it for Thursday!
