30k 1hr15 commute ride home with a few short hill efforts.
I got out for ANOTHER run. (almost) 10km. 2nd one this week. Straws aligned to give me a gap so I took it!
Gym first thing!
90km / 3.5hr ride in the Surrey Hills. Two long coffee stops. This ride was #notpoetapproved. As my ride buddy remarked, it was a coffee outing interrupted by some cycling.
Spin class first thing.
Went for a run, turns out I was hungover. I thought Iād got away with it.
Ended up walking a lot of it to deal with an āupset stomachā.
7 hr 30km run/hike with Mrs T up and around Kinder Scout and back down Jacobās ladder to Edale
Cracking day out
Now on first grandparent baby sitting duties
Only managed 11.5 hours last week but not a total disaster as it had some decent sessions. But the migraine didnāt help as I didnāt do much that day.
Only 2 hours of swimming and nothing particularly long which I need to change this week, I did get a good session in though where I was feeling quite good when I expected to be tired.
7:30 on the bike, but the 5 hour ride yesterday was good to get completed and then this mornings ~90 minutes on the TT bike. Iām probably going to get one more ride around 5 hours if possible and hopefully something on the TT bike.
2 hours of running, but did get a couple of useful treadmill sessions. Also, if I go back to a 7 day period from 30th August I actually managed nearly 60K and as quite a bit was on trail that was fairly pleasing. The leg was moaning a bit by Friday as a result so I havenāt ran since but will try to tomorrow.
Will see how this week goes.
13.25 hrs - helped by a very long day out with Mrs T yesterday
75km of running
2 run commutes - one in and one out - was quite pleased with that as it is a good time efficient way of getting some miles in
6h 41m
72km running and nowt else
biggest run week for a while, wasnāt deliberate, just ended up running 8 times - 6 of them were social!
Up in Leeds next week, going to pack my tights gloves and hat
10hr 15m for me.
5hr run
5hr bike
One swim
Longest sessions
27km run 2hr29m
2hr15 bike
Fastest 5km in two years in a hard 6km effort.
Today was going to be a 100 mile circular ride taking in Warwick but it didnt happen.
Ten hours !
Which is a very good number for a first week in Thailand ā¦. Hamstring very slowly mending everything else is fine as it only stops me running and pushing very heavy sleds. ( none of those here )
Lots of core stretching and basic cardio machines.
Happy !
One single solitary 5am 50k desert ride. Dragged myself out. It was only 30C for most of it as was a bit cloudy. I remember when I used to do 10-15h a week like some folks on here⦠it seems a lifetime ago. Impressive numbers folks. Inspiring.
Have you managed to find many like-minded folk to ride/ run with?
Not yet, but Iām going to put some effort in shortly. Cycling events and clubs will start to pick up again in October once the furnace relents. I was chatting to a couple of Brits in a big group that overtook me and I hopped on. Lots of clubs out here.
A whopping 5hrs 47mins last week off 10 activities
Just getting back into the routine
45 minute treadmill run at lunch.
