Training - What Training?!

Yeah not been easy the last week or so. I do try and preserve 45 mins each day and get out and do a 6km plus shower, or just sit on the sofa with a coffee but it just has not been possible lately.

4 mile run on the treadmill this morning, followed by a 1.5 mile walk at lunch.

Have a 24 hour row starting tomorrow evening (a mile on the hour, every hour). Looked at the weather, foul.

It’s inside, on a rowing machine. As this year has been so shit, especially for charities, hopefully end it on a slight high.

And the fact that it burns off some excess calories!

Easy ish 45 min circuit afterwards.

I don’t think it’s very efficient for Everesting is it? Have to say though, apart from a couple of sections, it’s very consistent compared to AdZ.

Not too sure, at least it’s ā€˜only’ 65 miles or of pedalling followed by 10-15 minutes of rest/feed/shower/change of kit. I think the consistency of the gradient would help but it’s not something I’ve ever really considered indoors, well, I hadn’t.

I’m considering it but need my core to be stronger than it is now.

4 x 1 mile on the rowing machine done, 20 to go.

Reckon I’ll be on TT for a few hours.
