Iron rookie is a “ legend “ on any site…
I can imagine he frequents a few.
He normally starts drying out and de toxing about now, but we haven’t heard from him this year.
Totally bonkers guy.

6.34 mile run
44:35 / 7:02 mile pace
126HR
Bit cold and wet out there
I bet that was dark? That must’ve taken some encouragement to get out of bed!
My run was miserable enough in the ‘daylight’ yesterday.
You’re the guy with the fluffy slippers
All gonna be dark for the foreseeable.
Still at work, so gotta get em done early.
HEY!!! I thought I was the slipper guy?
Mine are a bit knackered now like.
Longest outside ride in 2020 was 262.5km in 10hrs 14mins.
And a couple of 205k rides and a couple of 161km ones.
Indoors? Just 3hrs20mins for 100km.
Did just over 100km indoors a fair few times.
Did 5 hours one day just route ticking on Zwift, but that was constant on/off with lots of breaks for toilet, food, lunch, dog etc.
Don’t think I could do 7hrs on the turbo!!!
Slippers need fluff …
Nice socks though, some big rides there Shakespeare … well done …hoping for a monster this year, the state of the country / races/ motivation will dictate if it’s in or out.
Mon - 5k run, 100 DB Rows
Tue - 45 min trainer ride, 100 Push Ups
Wed - Trap Bar Deadlifts, 20 min trainer ride
This is more or less what I plan to do as often as possible now just loop through the following: An easy-ish run and upper body pull exercises, an easy-ish ride and push ups, Trap Bar deadlifts and a trainer ride. Each week or so I’ll do one of the rides or runs fast/hard or go for a longer distance outdoors, basically something to keep it interesting and track my progress.
Thanks for those tips Jeff especially this one, that would not have crossed my mind but makes sense
like it
I had a small window to run just now, even got kitted up and then looked outside. it’s freezing rain, windy and miserable, so I abandoned.
Not like me to do that but some days it just happens. Will go later this afternoon.
6 th circuit in 6 days
Upped the anti this morning …
One hour.
20 short sit ups, fingers over knees head back to pillow
20 squats down to 90 hands out in front like riding a bike!
10 press ups
Repeat…
398 press ups, 800 sq 800 s/ups.
Numbers should go up over the next few weeks, probably all the S+C you will ever need.
Easy turbo later
Had a meeting cancelled and it stopped raining, so nipped out.
6km easy, 30.56 at 5.09 pace, 38mtrs.
Sun was out as I drive home from college
People out running in short sleeves / shorts
Cunts
21 miles of Lanza from Fire Mountain to the long left hander before the big climb out of Teguise (sp).
After about 30 minutes it struck me that currently turbo-ing in the garage is like having a fever, freezing cold but sweating like a bastard and hoping it will be over soon
Bad day …?!
No more than usual.
Hate teaching via Teams.
@Symes what platform are you using to ride Lanza?
Thought schools were shut?
Sorry if I’m being thick, your students are older ?
Shorts and t shirts
Jesus it hardly got above freezing here
It’s on the Tacx app using a GPX file I picked up off the interweb and then edited into sections in GPX studio.
Might be the case that I pay for Tacx then alternate with Zwift on a monthly basis until Lanza gets cancelled.
