Training - What Training?!

I normally place my harder sessions after the rest day, so I’m guessing it would be decreasing.

I do occasionally have a hard session knowing there’s a rest day after it. Results are usually fair to crap.

I trained 13 hours a week (average)in 2020, if it was less your theory might have more weight.

Yeah this was before I got up and noticed it was raining.

Turbo was set up already…

One hour circuit then two hour turbo the same as yesterday … and the day before… don’t you just love lockdown.

@JibberJim Mentally it feels quite good as the turbo everyday is getting a little weary at times

Easy … ish circuit, one hour mostly upper body.

Two hour turbo.

5 mins aero, 1 min sat up x 20.

Cadence av 79

Hr av 144.

Basically the first two hours of a full distance bike split… in a perfect world.

I really wanted to get on Zwift but I’ve had a torrid day with crisis after crisis. I’m mentally buggered and just CBA :disappointed:

Had an epic lunch, which I finished at 1pm.
Had a few waters throughout the afternoon.
Headed out at 4pm for an easy 16km jog.
Lunch was determined to be seen again :face_vomiting:

Cut the run and got home after a mere 6km.

1.5h sweet spot intervals - threshold was too hard - not feeling the love.

40min easy run, felt much harder than it should but not as bad as I was expecting after the morning session.

Now heading to the shop for essential fruit. And wine.

haha and to cap it all off. I found my big boy pants and got changed, went into freezing garage for a Zwift session and just can’t get a decent connection tonight.

My freezing garage was also a quarter flooded this morning again, mopped it out two or three times from 07:00 to 11.
